Interesting enough, somebody at the BYOAC forums built a micro Donkey Kong cabinet out of a broken Coleco Donkey Kong tabletop. He was trying to get the Coleco tabletop version running, but all he could find was a simulation that couldn't be run full screen. I'm sure this will help greatly.

How exactly do you switch to console versions in MAMEUI .162? Or does this only work from the command line?

Don't need to "switch". Consoles, Computers, etc are listed among all other system (Arcades, Pinballs, Fruit Machines, etc.) which already in MAME in 0.161.

MAME 0.162 in short it's what UME used to be

I'm documenting MAME Saturn driver compatibility list: migre.me/pEp4Y

I suggest checking out MESSUI or better yet qmc2 or MEWUI instead. MAMEUI only has the arcade components and should really be called MAMEArcadeUI, now that the naming has changed.

Where in MameUI is "other system"? It's not there by default...

that's because MameUI developers have decided to exclude non-arcade systems from the exe
you might want to try command line MAME with a frontend like QMC2 to fully experience the new features
