FYI - It runs fine but clrmamepro throws up an error about 20 seconds in and is unable to continue. Says that either I stopped the process or the file is corrupt.

Note that output XML is changed so rom managers and frontends need to get updated too.

Yes, arcade only. Its current form is not suited for MESS' inclusion.
I imagine Robbbert could potentially make something like a UME-ish combo off of MESSUI but I don't know. Maybe that was tried before...

Seconded, arcade only! As you said, it's not like MAME32 was originally designed to accomodate MESS anyway.
Well, thanks again for keeping MAMEUI going JohnIV! That's the only MAME build I ever used in more than a decade (not that I've been using MAME a lot in the last few years mind you).

Yes, there are now altered core files that I had to go and include which I was previously hesitant to do. It's easier to just let folks go to Robbbert's repo so I don't miss something in the dist.
