Was browsing through old issues of Computer & Video Games on archive.org earlier, and ran across something interesting:

On p.127 of that issue, there's reference (with screenshots) to a version of Mr. Do! by Electrocoin that had been out on test. This was supposedly a 99-level version with some additional changes to the graphics.
Has anything related to this ever been found, or was it confirmed lost / never produced?
