Can you specify your errors? I compiled mine (r5226 x86) and don't seem to have any.

This issue was fixed already... it has now reappeared? I know (SVN 5223) is fine. So it must have broke again after that release. I can't test because nobody has uploaded the (SVN 5226) build... Progetto-SNAPS, EmuCR, Try2Emu, and Emu-Planet... none of those websites have uploaded the MAME Plus! UI 0.160 (SVN 5226) build. The only binaries included in their download package are of MAME Plus! and M+GUI. And I can't build my own since it would take forever on my old PC, otherwise I'd try to confirm it for you.

I use the .bat file that came with the source.

Compiling mameplus 32-bit over here is working just fine with the previous MAME tools (MinGW 4.9.1). My batch file only does "make TARGET=mame", I do not run the batch files provided by MAME Plus. SVN r5227.

That snapshot you took is not of MAME Plus! UI (mamepui). That snapshot is of M+GUI (mamepgui). That's why I keep telling people to refer to these two derivatives by their full names, this way it avoids confusion since their shortened names are so similar.
Anyways, I tested MAME Plus! UI 0.160 (SVN 5227) that I downloaded from Emu-France and EmuCR. And both work fine.
