...the 'attack from the handheld games' version release. *kidding*

Good update from the group effort involved in this part of the hardware preservation. Crossing fingers that the Microvision system can be fully working either this year or next year. And also the opcodes figured out for the hardware used with Mattel Electronics handheld games. It's a bummer when there are a lot of obstacles preventing emulation/preservation of Mattel Electronics games' hardware.

I was totally psyched to try these out - even if I could only hear the sounds :-)

Definitely brought back some memories. Space Laser Fight was my favorite out of all the LCD/LED games that I owned.

In due time, some more entries should be visible with hap's comment of: prepare for svg2lay

See kevtris' post since it shows that his data retrieval process is in working order for some of the games he has completed.

For me, it will always be Mattel Electronics Football since that is what caught my interest of getting more of the Mattel games until MB marketed Microvision a couple years later.

No doubt that Mattel's Electronic Football was probably one of the most iconic (and earliest) of the LED games. I don't think I knew anyone that didn't own one growing up.
