What happens when Mario ages 60 years... you get the unofficial Grandpa Donkey Kong. The game is called Triple Punch. Anyone else ever thought it looked similar, a lil too similar, to Donkey Kong?
The two main characters, the protagonist Mario-looking guy that you control and the antagonist "Gorigon" look extremely similar to the two main characters in DK, Mario & Donkey Kong. The Mario-looking character is dressed and colored nearly identical to the real Mario, except he's not wearing a hat. Also, in the game he is identified as a "carpenter", just like Mario was in DK (the carpenter jumpman). A weapon used is the hammer, just like in DK. There's the fire flames that tries to kill you, just like in DK. Etc... other near identical similarities.

That's how games have always been, someone comes up with something new then other companies ripoff ideas when they make a competing product.
