> I love this idea! Arcade Games Saving Real Lives!!!
I think enter any coin is a cool mod that they did. Just hope that they gotten permission for using those games. If there no permission then they can get into a lot of trouble over this.

Hell, could be a racket, even. 'Yeah, we're doing this for charity'. Anyways, I think it's a bad idea to have all that coinage visible - interest someone in stealing it.
> Someone would have to be a real low life to steal from a charity like that... only the Wet Bandits Sticky Bandits would do something like that!
Money is money to thieves. Be easy, too. Get a small crew standing around the machines, some playing, some talking....hole saw, and vacuum it out like in How To Beat the High Cost of Living. Anyone remember that flick?
I haven't been to airports in the US, but in Europe, the charity boxes to drop your foreign currencies are at all international airports, it is intended for you to drop the foreign currencies (especially coins since they usually cannot be exchanged at the bank).
And they always are transparent...so no difference with the current system just that you get some quality time while waiting for your luggage.
Nice idea. Would love to start an entire seaside arcade doing this. Trick would be to get funding for the units, and make enough to give to charity but also to pay premises costs. Guess it might be less costly to place them in somewhere like an airport and where people are waiting around.
