Stone Ball prototype?

Hi there,
I just received a Stone Ball PCB.
It's a 2P version 1-20 with build date 21/10/1994.
The PCB features the 3P and 4P controls connectors but 2P EPROMs (U101 & U102)and PIC(U1003). Usually, 2P boards lack these.
This could be a 4P board converted to 2P but I don't see the point of doing this since the 4P version can easily be set to 2P by switching a dipswitch.
ROM stickers are hand written instead of factory printed. EPROM U101 is a ST M27C2001 and EPROM U102 is a TMS 27C020-15. It also features an AM27C040 EPROM at U801 (Sound).
Build dates of versions currently in MAME (both 1-20) are 7/11/1994 for 2P PCB and 13/12/1994 for 4P.
Since this board has an earlier build date and EPROMs everywhere, could this be a prototype?

Can you dump the various roms and post them somewhere or send to the mamedev.org submission address? (I can't type the email here due to spam harvesting but it is visible on mamedev.org)

Possibly proto/test location but maybe they made a different art set for the 2P kit like the CPO. Definitely dump and upload to sendspace or mega and send one of us the link in a PM.
