If it's not "Flipper Ball" (circa 1976-1977) then it's a generic 1975 Pong clone that not even Cinematronics employees remember the proper name of, though some call it "Video Amusement Game Table" and was found only in cocktail cabinets.

It's definitely not "Flipper Ball"

I have a working "T.V. Pin Game" board (which is similar, if not the same as "Flipper Ball") and it is much bigger than this Cinematronics board.

The date code stamped on the Cinematronics board is 7522.

*partly kidding* ;-)

I already have about 75% complete with Atari pong pcb ascii layout, but now completing the resistor and capacitor portion of the layout. I know I mentioned this stuff long ago, but I had misplaced the file a couple years ago and recently found it again and added more to it just last week. I'll upload the ascii layout here when completed and you can see how the Cinematronics pcb differs.

The generic pong ascii layout that I have started should cover 4 or 5 dedicated two player arcade pong pcbs such as Paddle Battle, Paddle Ball etc.

It could be that the Cinematronics pcb is a newer generation of pong clones and supports more features compared to earlier pong games of Atari Pong or Allied Leisure Paddle Battle.

It is really time to start adding lots more text and data into MAME's source file of pong.c even though it might clutter up things later for couriersud in case couriersud ever tackles pong.c again.

Congrats there. I guess the 75 has something to do with year 1975? I wonder if 22 is related to second month....February and the other digit 2 is regarding day with release date as such....February 02, 1975?

Oh gregf, you of all people should understand date codes as used on electronic devices: last two digits of the year and a week number. That's the 22nd week of 1975, so it would be 26-30 May assuming it was a weekday.

I agree. It's better than my guess with this pcb.

I took up the wrong major back in my college years and not knowing emulation would be a future thing, I would have taken more hardware classes instead during that time. Oh well.

Cool, 22nd week of 1975 is how I would decode that.

There was a cabinet photo here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/joshrose/11879551554/
which shows up in Google results but has since been taken down.

You can get a 225x225 thumbnail from Google Images here:

http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2868/11879551554_75478895fc_z.jpg&imgrefurl=https://www.flickr.com/photos/joshrose/11879551554/&h=640&w=640&tbnid=c2bai3HAyuQTyM:&zoom=1&docid=1TON4sS48WFsCM&itg=1&ei=2U3uVM_LM8nHsQT8uILIDw&tbm=isch&ved=0CCIQMygAMAA&biw=1366&bih=484

Video of gameplay here apparently:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPN8SNbo-yg
(yet another who calls it Video Amusement Game Table, although that may be the info source for The Golden Age Arcade Historian.)

You are damned right there is very little info out there about this Pong clone!

There might have been more info online if Cinematronics had money to have flyers printed for advertising the game. iirc it might have been Keith Smith indicating that Cinematronics had only advertised the game for vendors in backpage advertising sections of some of the coinop industry trade magazines.

SlyDC chimed in on our mailing list to say that it's a perfect gameplay duplicate (based on the YouTube video, I guess) of Slam or Challenge by Mirco. (Not sure how he could identify that, but I digress...)
