could possibly, perhaps easily, leap rebound from a fall off a skyscraper. Terminal velocity is not that bad, and there are real-world examples of people falling say during sky diving, and bouncing and living and walking later on.

If memory serves there are some comic book versions of him for which he has most of the other "strengths" of a spider. So his terminal velocity violates physics for a body with his mass, and he can fall large distances unharmed. Perhaps I am misremembering or misremembering the explanation. There's gotta be a bigger comic book nerd around here than me, I am generally low-ranking in comic book nerddom.
