Which version is the original "Boulder Dash"?

Which version is the original "Boulder Dash"?
Boulder Dash (Max-A-Flex) - 1984
or
Boulder Dash (DECO Cassette) - 1985
I had always thought that the DECO Cassette version was the original but it appears that it was released a year after the Max-A-Flex version.

You know the history of Boulder Dash, right? It was for home computers before it was for arcades. See Wikipedia.
