Wow, zaxxon.c sound has really degenerated.....

No sound for zaxxon, in-game music is totally gone in congo (death and end of screen musics are there, though)....... There really should be a back-up measure of samples used if the emulation isn't complete.

What's "degenerated" about it? zaxxon has never had emulated sound, only samples...

Ohh. Okay. Regardless, the behavior reported by Gyrovision was existent till at least .148, and since has gotten much worse. Both games are essentially unplayable.

Not sure what binary you are using, but yes, Congo/Tip Top has issues with samples not playing correctly and clipping (bongo samples). Sure, some inaccuracy in sound could bug the player, but Zaxxon and Super Zaxxon both play perfectly fine to me with the appropriate sample pack.

Pardon. Simpler than that. Somehow, my 154 directory didn't get a samples folder in it. Mmhhff. So, false alarm.
