is Invasion - The Abductors fully working with mame 154?
i just updated my cabinet and redid everything on it including goin to win7 64 and i cant remember if it had sound stutter or not. dont want to keep pulling my hair out playing with setting or video resolutions if its not fully working.

The game is definitely playable, but it's marked imperfect.
I get some sound stuttering here on my end as well.
Nothing you change or adjust will get it to 100%
You have to just appreciate it for what it is or try a different game.

thanks, i will quit messing with then. the reason i kept trying to get rid of the sound stutter was because someone posted on youtube a clip of gameplay in an older version of mame saying it was 100% and i didnt hear any stutter in the clip. oh well .

After searching on YT it does say 0.146u3 is 100% with 0 stutter.
Perhaps I'll give it a try later to see if it's true.

Any game will sound stutter if your PC isn't fast enough to keep it running at 100%. You can press F11 to test your speed. If you have anything less than a mid level Core2Duo running 64bit mame then you are probably going to get some stuttering.

right, its an older version of mame so i wonder if something got broken since then. i am running 4 gig of ram and a core 2 duo 2.93 ghz everything else has no stutter but that game that i know of.

If you -aviwrite a movie from MAME, the movie will play at the correct framerate with no sound stuttering even if your PC isn't fast enough to run the game. This is most dramatically demonstrated with Haze's video of OutRun 2, but you can try it yourself and see too

That's cool, I didn't know that. Of course, depending on what you're wanting to show, recording may be a moot activity.

i am at work now but when i get home i will try to find and older version of mame and see if it stutters. i remember a while back i used to play simpsons bowling and it worked fine, then i updated to a newer mame and it had bad sound skipping. so bad i had to turn off the volume playing it, then a new update came out and fixed it.

Same here. I Played the first two levels on an i7-3770 and it played 100% the entire time.
