Yeah, the last time I watched it, I looked to see whether the version I was watching was an altered one. Alas, no. I don't think I noticed in the theatre, and for what it's worth, the cinematography is so polarized on Sark, not to mention there's nothing happening with Pac.....

By the way, it's 'whoa'. Not woahhh. You know.

Urban dictionary is just a repository of confirmation that the leet kiddies have thoroughly fucked up enlgish spelling and use. We live in a time where childish is confused with child-like.

Also, Urban means american use. Otherwise it would be demarcated British, etc.

And to answer your question: american english sounding most resembles the specific letter sounds [of] english, hence in that regard it is the standard, regardless whether it was the originating tongue.

In a response to an "urban dictionary" post, that last sentence is all over the place.

No no. The word linked above has a context that is specific to the sound of British English. HOWEVER. It just dawned on me that the word isn't special. It's the same as any spirited chanting: Hoo-ah (army - arguably weak sounding), Huzzah! (British - a little spritzy), OO-RAW (Marine Corps)....etc......

...

According to UD, what does American English "sounding" most resemble?
