What ever happened to MESSUNI? I remember there being a release or two but then it seems to have been discontinued. Was it because UME took it's place?

That was an experiment to take UME, basically, and craft it into the MESSUI front-end while also ripping basically everything that had a condition flag (even decent drivers with some video/sound issues). This made it impractical even for the players it was made for. Didn't work out too well, needless to say. The homepage is no longer valid and nothing past 0.146 was ever produced that I know of.
If you use UME and looking for a good front-end, use QMC2. Virtually everything it can do QMC2 can handle.
