Arcade VGA vs current computer specs
#328029 - 07/10/14 08:02 PM

Hi
I have the Arcade VGA 3000. The back of the card says its an HD2600 512M card. It worked great in my old tower and I wanted to put it into my new PC. The only problem is its a SFF tower and it won't physically fit. The new computer is an HP 8200 Elite SFF. I got it because it was a good deal at the time and had an i5 processor in it. My concern is the power supply. I just realized its 240W. Would this be enough to power it? If not, how possible would it be to get a better power supply and move all the internals of my new pc into a full size tower? Sorry for all the questions but any help would be greatly appreciated!

240w PS is sketchy in any modern set-up.

In the end I upgraded the motherboard, PSU, and case. I reused the CPU, RAM, hard drive, DVD drive and Arcade VGA card. There just isn't a workaround for the odd proprietary motherboard. I should've done it the right way the first time I guess haha. Oh well, lesson learned
