Curious to find such Classic players with such theatrical capability. Not just the 'arrangement', but the articulations and all were very cool.
Good filming, too.
It's interesting that this....unplugged...version was more vibrant and gripping than the original. And I've not felt that about things like the Metallica cello group.

That or 2 overproduced fags in vampire makeup paying a few hundred people to wear wigs. The original ACDC version sounded flat because of a combination of recording limitations and a halfassed producer. If it was recorded today it would sound completely different.

I didn't even know it WAS possible to do THAT with stringed instruments. VERY cool.

You can play other songs using those. Like the Beatles, Def Leppard, KISS and many more.

Don't get high-falutin on Dully, there, man.
@jonwill: back to the late 19th-early twencen, such things and more were explored. It's merely a matter of curiosity and inclination.

A-Hahn hahn hahn hahn hahn. Surely the recording fidelity is an element....but the original was of great quality. The guitar wasn't especially heavy, particularly in the upper ranges. Back in Black sounded heavy mainly in the low pitch parts, and backed by the bass and drums.
This performance was just richer, because of many things, but at the heart of it was the quality of the instruments and the playing of them.
While there are a great deal of things one can do with an overdriven signal, true dynamics is not one of them, and the quality of change in an instrument that's capable of them is far more complex. Most people can't, for whatever reason, hear it.
