Youtube says I need Adobe Flash.....
#327433 - 06/25/14 08:09 PM Attachment: youtube nonsense.png 13 KB (0 downloads)

Except I have it installed. Ah, yes, I have active scripting enabled. I installed Java. Re-started browser. Youtube still says I need it. The image says....then videos play anyways.....but I think this issue is causing serious play delays, as my theatre rig is wifi through the same modem, and it doesn't have delays.

What OS, what browser, what versions? Java is very much not necessary for YouTube. Also, it helps to download and install Flash inside the specific browser you'll be using it in.

Ohh. I kind of assumed it was known I use Win7 and IE11. Sorry. Inside the browser?

Open IE11, browse to this page...

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Make sure you uncheck the "additional offer" and then hit the "install now" button.

Oh. Well, yeah, that's what I've done every time.

Since videos are playing anyways, does that mean it's then switching/defaulting to HTML5 for play?

Dude, I tried out FF, and I just don't like it as much as IE. All them all are fucked up some ways, but IE the least for my purposes.

By the way, I asked for and got some advice at the Win7 forum, did what was suggested (except for disabling ActiveX - I may do that), and the behavior didn't change. Oh well.
