Still not sure what it is.
PROMs are marked "Dal A1" "Dal A2" etc.
There was a piece of masking tape that said "Super Sear" with some burn marks on it.
I will try reading the PROMs later.

Might be "rusty gold" as the pickers say. Honestly you can just attach the roms here if you want, that thing is so old. I'd love to get contacted by the copyright holder.

Looks like a tantalum caught fire on it...
Layout and component choice is screeming Kee/Atari...

...which in Portuguese is "placa", which when you translate it back to English becomes "Plate".

Agreed, or someone who copied them.
I'm not so much a hands-on experience person but I've looked through dozens of PCB photos like this while going through all the early Atari/Kee PCB photos as well as those on Discrete Logistics.

Dude, sweet.
You can see in the lower placa, that there is a distinct 'V' shape which I do not find at all attractive. The upper placa show a more robustly rounded trace placement which is more to my liking.

I read all the D2716 chips.
Except for ROMs at A4, A8 and B3, they all came up as Phoenix ROMs.
I don't have any way to read the 2 N82S129F PROM chips.
Mystery solved.

If some of the roms didn't romident then send the dump in. The 82S129 can be read as 7114(7052), 27S21, 6301-1, 74S287, 24S10, 7611-5, 93427, 5623, 29661, 3621, or KR556RT11. Or you can mail them to me if you want.

DAL or D&L (at some point I knew what it stood for) was a prolific maker of bootlegs, notably phoenix/naughty boy hardware, in the early 80s in the USA.

I got the B3 to read and match after cleaning the pins a bit.
Funny thing was that the D3 and D4 chips were the worst as far a corrosion goes but yet they read fine.
What do you use to read the smaller PROMs? I've got an Andromeda Labs AR-32A and this is a good excuse to order the extra module.

I use an old BP Microsystems programmer for bproms. Just check chip support lists before buying anything. But the ones on that board could very well match the normal Phoenix ones.
