Awesome work, thanks!
The search box is a great addition. Haven't tried the movie preview yet (I predict it to become a HDD space eater if we make movies for all games).
The only feature I would love to see is in the game details window (Shift-I). It would be great to be able to differentiate the ROMs that are in the current selected set from the ROMs taken from the parent set (e.g. ROMs listed in a different color or a note in the status column).

The only solution would be to open all the .zip files for a game (no extraction) to get contents list into separate StringLists and check them against MAME's ROMs list. Then each ROM could be tagged according to where each it is (game set, parent set, device set, bios set). This is kind of a dirty trick but it would work. Of course this will not work for merged clones. What font colors do you have in mind ? EL show all in black, and red color for CHDs with bad MD5. I could make font dark blue (navy) for the parent set ROMs, or implement a font color selection so you can use any color you want.
It's just the ROMs from parent set ? This feature would be a on/off switch (off by default ?), and the setting would be placed in the game details screen for easier access.

Parent set ROMs in blue color would be perfect. I don't think you would need to open all ZIPs, only the one of the parent and the one of the selected clone.

Well just for MAME which is almost complete set for .153 is about 12.5GB.:)
My Media alone for Hyperspin is around 90Gb.
includes: wheels, themes, videos, carts, boxes for home console systems and handhelds.
This is not counting FADE project which has more stuff like manuals, cabinets, CP, pcb. etc...
