"Hey are you available on the 7th"
#326071 - 05/20/14 05:35 AM Attachment: fu.gif 995 KB (0 downloads)

Gat leaves a message for a musician "Hi, we're having a work party on the 7th from 5 to 7, and was hoping you'd be available. Please give me a call. Thanks."

Message returned: "Hi, I got your message about the 7th, and unfortunately I'm booked that day, but I can do it on the 6th. [a whole bunch of unnecessary details followed, from rates, songs, equipment, prep-time blah blah blah]. Please get back with me to let me know if that all sounds good to you."

The message Gat wish he had sent back "Hi again. Got your message. Bummer about the 7th, but yeah, we definitely can use you on the 6th... not for music of course because that's on the 7th, but you can help by mopping the floors, setting up tables, hanging streamers, assembling a little stage for the band that will be playing on the 7th. So we'll see you at the place around 3 pm. Looking forward to it. Bye."

The message Gat actually left... " [click]".

Gat's got no balls. No balls.

It's a disturbingly common bad sales tactic... "I don't have the thing you're looking for, but perhaps you'd be interested in some of the useless bullshit I do have." I don't know why people do it, I can't imagine it's ever worked.
