For that to happen I'd need to use Facebook as more than a way to log in to things that ask for a Facebook account when logging in. In fact, I think I only created an account accidentally while signing up for one of them.

Good for you. I don't watch Television! You probably get the same looks that I get. I use Facebook a lot, mostly for keeping up with friends and family abroad.
I only have two or three "North American" friends on Facebook, so I have no way of knowing if that video is already doing the rounds. I was just thinking ahead that's all. You know, to avoid replies saying, yeah we've all seen that a million times.
I was slow to get on Facebook as well. You'll start using it eventually, or whatever will replace it one day, if ever...

So he'll perform poorly, be intrusive, and have poor compatibility?

I have Google+, and did before YouTube needed it. Don't really use that either. I do use Twitter. But via any content pipeline, I haven't seen that video. Not that I remember now what it was; I'll have to go back and look after typing this.

I've never used it, and in the US it's now considered to be "that thing your parents use to stalk you" which is the kiss of death.
I'm glad it existed so that we could get Catfish: The TV Series though. It's like a slow-motion train wreck being hit by a nuclear bomb every week.
