Wow. :-/ I feel somewhat sorry for it. Would've been good to capture it nonlethally.
I saw these at Wal-Mart & had to buy 'em - even if I don't have a mouse problem.... and, as far as I know, I didn't have any this winter -which is atypical.
I do hate the idea of killing things, but there are some things that just have to be done.
edit: Before I clicked on this topic - my first thought was that it could be a Nutria... Nope. Definitely a capital R-A-T.

My friend from another state told me those rats are all over USA. I never seen one that huge.

Sadly, most Americans are idiots. Your friend may very well thinking of a muskrat, which gets MUCH bigger than the rat in question.
