Thanks for the new version!
From the v7.5.5 changelog: "Number of players was set to blank if info not found in "nplayers.ini", when this file is available"
What is written in the column instead?

EL should display the players info from MAME (-listxml output) if not found in nplayers.ini.
That was not the case with previous EL builds. If a gamename was not found in nplayers.ini, instead of using the info from MAME's -listxml, the # of players column was showing nothing... empty, nada.
I fixed that.

Ah ok, I used that "feature" to update NPlayers with each new release, looking for blank entries and added info for each of those games one at a time.
From now on, I'll have to check for entries without "sim/alt" info... ;-)

ok... I can add a on/off setting to avoid using MAME's info.
Let me implement this thing and I'll get back to you later today
