The Superbowl....

It's kind of funny, but the two teams in the Superbowl this year are both from states that just legalized all forms of the "SuperBowl". Heh. Ironic in a sense.

The fact that every state understands the joke shows how widespread the use is. I couldn't name a pop culture reference off the top of my head outside of Mallrats. Everybody has smoked it. If I hadn't I wouldn't know wtf the bowl reference was.

I went to college. I spent 5 years in community college going part time, and 2 more years full time in a state college. I've never tried pot or any other drugs. I've never used tobacco products either. I've had less than 6 beers in my entire life and I haven't had even a sip of alcohol since New Years Eve/Day (just after midnight) of 1991 when I had a glass of champagne. I was actually completely caffeine free for about 4 years, but I have a weakness for chocolate, so I can't keep that shit up anymore.
People I work with think I'm a Mormon or something.

I'm kind of in a similar boat. I never had any interest in smoking or tobacco at all. I have to watch my caffeine intake, just because it winds me up to a much higher degree than most people. Mostly, I just stick to decaf coffee and avoid caffeinated sodas and energy drinks. Alcohol is my vice, though. I wouldn't say I'm a heavy drinker, but I enjoy good beer too much to ever give it up entirely.

Perhaps it was a jab at Smit's mom....? By implying something that wasn't stated... Or, inferring an action (e.g. "anal") simply because the real subject (pot) wasn't stated in the original sentence.
