all anti-viruses can scan ANY archive file formats, including RAR.

 no, WinRAR is not required to unpack EL files. any freeware archiver can do this, e.g. 7-zip.

why Set All Games Available option was removed?
EL still can't correctly scan ROM/CHD set, and reports missing games, while i have complete set.
can you bring back that useful option?

Set all games available is selectable in the new "Select Scan Mode" (games popup menu). Or when you hit F5 to scan games.
I guess I should have made the select scan mode dialog available on a fresh install or when the auto-create games list at startup is enabled.

can you please tell me what games are being validated wrong ? I don't have full MAME
collection.
