does anyone have a buzzing sound on new zealand story & xain'd sleena in mame4droid reloaded 0.139? i'm using a sony xperia z smart phone with a 1.5ghz processor. the same games on the older mame4droid works perfect so i'm wondering if they could port what they use for the sound in the older mame4droid into mame4droid reloaded. i have tried everything from lowering the sound to 11hz & trying all the different advanced sound engine options plus trying the in some cases may inprove sound option. my sony xperia z is only mono so could that have anything to do with it, who knows. any help on this problem would be great. THANKS
i do apologise if i have posted in wrong place.

Yes, I can confirm the buzzing noise in those games on a Galaxy S3 with 0.139u1 1.6.1.

On nvidia shield runs perfect.
This game performs really bad on 0.139 and have a very inconsistent frame rate. It's doing sound buffer under runs.
Try speed hacks on normal, pressing coin + start at the same time when gaming, and set a fixed frame skip of 5.
Anyway, try the clone, performs a little better...

Yes I confirm the buzzing sound and low speed (it doesn't work at full speed) in tnzs, I've not tried with the other game. tnzs worked fine in old releases but from some months it's no more playable. I have a Galaxy S3 9305 LTE. I hope that it will be fixed soon since it's one of my favourite games.
Thanks for this report!

I had to remove some aggressive compiler optimizations that were breaking some games. Maybe that is the reason that was faster on a previous version.
In fact, I have tried retroarch 2010 mame core with this Roms and runs them worst than mame4droid, so it is related to 0.139 base code... Sadly New Zealand driver is a lot slower in this version.... If I have time I will profile it...

tnzs was very slow for a while due to inefficient ROM banking (MT #4404); Haze fixed it in 0.143.

Are you sure?
"R. Belmont" (not his real name, btw: the name is in reference to the main character in "Dracula X: Rondo of Blood" ;-)
Anyway I like Robert than Richter....

Quite. His online handle is taken from Richter Belmont. I know his real name, but I'm not sharing it.

Quite. I imagine that would lead to an earthquake rather high on the Richter scale, and none of us would want that.

Works perfectly on Nvidia Shield and Note 10.1 2014 . However, using the Moga Hero Controller and the Controller on the Shield, I notice that for Moga, the L/R 2 Buttons are not functioning and on the Shield the L/R2 Buttons are mapped as the L/R1 Buttons. Would be better to have those independant so can add their own Functions.
Has there been any workings to getting the NFL Blitz Games working faster and also the Mortal Kombat 4 Button Mappings correct? Even on the PC Version of MAME, MK4 has issues with trying to map the Buttons. You think you got the Buttons mapped out, and you are wrong.

Blitz will require an ARM DRC back end. Nobody except Aaron has ever written a working back end for MAME, so it may be a while

Is this reported on MAMETesters?
