If you were to call one of these things turquoise, which would it be?

imo The one on the left is more of a cyan or pastel blue.
edit: Okay. After googling it - apparently the one on the right is teal (not turquoise). But, you asked what I thought -so...

That looks like sea foam and lavender. Let me adjust the monitor angle... ah, there it is. OK, I... guess I can answer now.

I recently made some study on colours and colour perception. I noticed that in all the colour wheels I checked, the names for colours not primary or secondary are often more fantastic or poetic than descriptive (e.g. viridian, sky, cobalt, dusk, crimson, emerald, amber...), but whenever they are used, they are used consistently. The exact meaning of these colour names has been defined often for centuries, like in coat of arms, painting, etc. And turquoise lies in the midpoint between cyan (180 degrees) and pure green (120 degrees). So definitely the left one.
If you need a colour wheel with "standard" names of primary, secondary, tertiary and cuaternary colours, I can translate for you the one I did. Or you can use it directly and check your spanish skills.
This reminds me a scene in Lost In Translation where the wife sends Bob some samples for a new carpet and they are all dark red tones, and she talks (by phone) saying that the burdeaux looks the best, and poor Bob searches around the samples, all looking more or less the same, thinking "which one is the hellish bordeaux?"

Shit, I mixed up teal and turquoise, too. Change my vote to "Orc is a bast"

Thanks, I try. But it was just the angle I was viewing the screen from. The colors are actually Charlotte and Rum.
(Okay, that's according to http://www.color-blindness.com/color-name-hue/. I'd actually just go with "light blue-green and violet grey.)

Yeah...my thought too. Wife wants something nice, and she normally does a good job with budget clothing buys. It will make her happy...and she deserves it.

Got me into the sweet sweet candy. My wife is such a light weight... Only got 5 in her and we had to leave the movie early to take care of business
(special adult's night out at the base theater... had Cap'n coke, Bacardi coke, Heineken and some other beer for sale. A rarity is a US(ish) theater)
