Now it supports non-standard key data, such as the kind extracted from a FD1089 with a dead battery.

This part is very good. The pcb owners of that hardware may still have a fighting chance of rescueing the pcb when it goes sour even though some modifying work will be needed on the board to get it fully working.

It can extract a complete FD1089 table set in a few hours instead of several days.
--
I had thought the process only took a few hours rather several days. Well at least it now takes several hours. So my previous incorrect guess is now correct.

Or just use gregf's PC. It'll probably take days on that.

If using the program, it might take a month or hardware [the classic doorstop model] might fry out trying....whichever happens first.

I honestly didn't get it, I'm not into Star Trek. I loved Galaxy Quest though.

I don't think it was meant to be provoking.
Provoking would be making a Star Wars reference along the lines of "Would it help if I got out and PUSHed" if commenting some of smf's recent code submissions.
