Suggest me why i should get hbmame..

i use mame since its dawn,and tried most of its fork releases..though i was always interested in trying hbmame,i was skeptic about the hacks themselves...so,let's put it this way:i love fighting games,and i love also quirky,weird games...while for the latter i'm sure i would find abound in hbmame,for fighting games i would like to know if thoes hacks have ,for example,the choice of playing with bosses from the beginning,or if its just some pallette swap thingamabob

HBMAME allows you the MAME experience with games not in Baseline MAME so it's good to have it setup if you're interested in seeing different games.

Although, most of the hacks are graphics-related. Ultimately, I prefer the originals for game play.
