Suggestion for built-in MAME Slider Menu
#317900 - 11/26/13 07:20 PM

I'm messing around with the current HLSL settings and I'm having some difficulty when I try to adjust some of the Slider menu parameters, because the menu has tons of options and it covers up all the game screen (specially the vertical game screens) so I just cannot see which results on the game screen in real time. Every time I adjust one of the slider parameters, I have to exit the menu to see the game screen and if it's not good enough, I have to go back to the slider screen again and adjust it. And doing it repeatedly over and over is quite annoying. here i'm using a TV screen with 1080p resolution (1920x1080) so the built-in MAME screens are quite large.

So my suggestion here would be to have less options in the slider menu visible at the same time, and allow us to scroll down through all the options line by line, or showing 3 lines at the same time only. This way, we will be able to see what's going on to the game screen on the back without having to coming back and forth several times.

If you are using the tilde menu, there should only be 1 slider on screen at a time. Pressing up or down will change it.
