Lord Hiryu has sent us some artwork in the past. Now it looks like he and Tapule tweaked the artwork system a bit, to support a bunch of new custom artwork.

Would make sense to me if it was in English. Perhaps someone can tell what has changed?

Or SeaMonkey, it has the same function: Tools -> Translate page.

What do the tweaks do? If they're really useful, we'll just assimilate the patch.

I can finally put this worthless translation bachelor's degree to use!
MameLay Plus (MameLay+), es un mame no oficial modificado de manera que pueda ejecutar automáticamente Lays genericos o de cada juego, de forma completamente automática, sin necesidad de ir creando LAYs para cada juego.
"MameLay Plus (MameLay+) is a modified version of MAME that can automatically load either generic Lay files, or game-specific files, without having to create a LAY for every game."
So it loads a generic arcade machine artwork overlay. There's no need to create the file, you can just place a bezel file with the romset's name, and MameLay+ will load it automatically.
They basically recommend using this version of MAME with Lord Hiryu's HQ Bezels.
Oh, and they have a source code patch available to download.

artworks is good. But cut off some of the letters and one of the score is cut off too.
To fix this. Got it just right on aliens. Using the boot screen boxes.
Screen Horiz Stretch 0.978
Screen Vert Stretch 0.944
Screen Vert Position 0.008
Line up perfect.
Settings for Pacman.
Screen Horiz Stretch 1.002
Screen Horiz Position 0.002
Screen Vert Stretch 0.958
Screen Curvature 0.04
Screen Pincushion 0.04
Near Perfect. Good as it get. Other wise the boxes lines might get cut off. I guest the bezel left side and right side spread further out. This will do.
Games will be cut off a little. All it takes some changes.
