Lots of obvious questions.
How do they get around copyright laws and such?

No mention about MAME/MESS, so I guess they are writing their own emus for these games? Any chance they might help out a bit with this little project?

Lots of good points. I don't really think they know what they are up against though. SO much data. Although if they are only doing American society it would cut the amount down considerably. On the other hand, how can the rest of the worlds contributions be left out. Everything involved is dependent upon many other societies and their contributions to ours, be it technological or just outright creativity.
