OK, tornado didn't hit us directly

but I'll be re-shingling this weekend. They are all over my yard.

If I had any shingles left, they are gone now... but we're all still safe. Police scanners noted no major damage, despite multiple touch downs around the area, none hit structures that they see.
So much golf ball sized hail from the tornado that passed through my property, you can't even see the grass! Missed the house and my shop, but my fences are fuxored up now too. Neighbors horses are going nuts but staying near the barn.

Wait till after Saturday in case you have any clean up/repairs to do for yourself. From what I hear we'll be getting these severe thunderstorms up until then. eta: well, for the weekly forecast. They'll probably never 'END' end. 
"We"? Yeah, cause these storms consistently go in the same direction southwest to northeast.
Everyone in the path of theses storms - be safe!

That's because you are a righteous dude.
I'm actually looking into a metal roof... this is the fourth time I've had to shingle in two years. And you can't blame it on my shoddy work, the last time was professionally done (because I had the same doubts about shoddy work, but apparently made no difference... we just get too much wind here).
Anywho, I'm thinking a blue metal roof, and I can double as an IHOP on the side!

If you're going with metal, you should spray something cool on it, like a Pacman maze big enough to be visible in Google Earth.
