bwidow sound issues

Does anyone else seem that the sound is corrupt in this game now? Was there a regression? I know they added discrete sounds to it so could it be that? I hear like a weird noise once in awhile. Using mame64 148u5.

Sounds fine on my current SVN and u5 copy (32 bit) - I don't hear any problems with sound. Are you sure you are getting 100% speed? (F11 to see).

Yes I get full speed. One more thing the game crashes when you lose all your guys if you have hlsl enabled. If you disable hlsl it won't crash.

Edit: Well it still crashes when I disable it also.

No sound issues, but confirm getting a crash after last man killed. x64 build at r23181 w/ hlsl (or without) fullscreen.

Same as John - no sound issues but crashes at GAME OVER. Tried at r23205.

It scrolls slowly at the level selection screen, and then game play is rather slow till you get up a ways. I don't think they're hardware slow-downs, as even though it was a long time ago and I didn't play the game that much, I recall it being much like bwidow pre-video re-write.
