For example, SonSon doesn't sound like the real PCB at all.

That because of the speakers sound different than the PC speakers. If you have the speakers from the arcade machine then have it redone so that it can be connected to the PC. Should sound the same after hook up to the PC.

Do you have a real pcb to make comparison recordings with? This could be helpful to fix it.

Speaking of SonSon, that character is also playable in Marvel vs Capcom 2.

I mean, setting the screen refresh rate to 56Hz will make SonSon fully play the prologue song when you start a new game (without being cut off).
And some sounds play soft, unlike the real PCB.
