Nice find. He should have resold it on Yahoo Japan first for $1500.

What do the SVN logs tell you?
MAMEDevs code for more than just MAME. MAME encompasses the whole source base, even if people are working on PC emulation, Playstation improvements, modernization of sound devices, a new quality debugger interface - all of which will benefit MAME longterm as well as helping MESS. It is all emulation, all driven by the same core files, all done by dedicated volunteers who spend their spare time for a project. Some developers either have more skill or more time to dedicate to the MAME source.. be it adding clones, new games, or whatever might come up. So when one person who has the most time does a lot of submits over a couple days.. suddenly it seems to people there is only "one" active MAMEdev?
Honestly, your question should be nominated for a "worse question ever" category. To me, it is completely disrespectful to everyone else involved in the project to see it even asked and displays your ignorance of just what MAME is.

No. He's just one of the few devs who likes to talk about what he does.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. My "question" was more like a rhetorical - from time to time I am visiting MAME dev's sites and for example I rarely see on their sites anything new, especially this year. (Kale, Luca, Ville, Robizza...) My constant interest and almost everyday use/play with MAME is more then sure respect for all MAME team.

You might be waiting awhile, since Mamedev stops work on any drivers that people ask about over and over.

Haze is definitely the most vocal about what he works on. I prefer to spend more time working on things than telling people what I've been working on.
