Arcadevga 3000 and Wells Gardner 25K7000 no image

Good evening everyone.
I am in the middle of setting up a MAME cab and have run into an issue with my monitor setup.
My video/PC Setup
- Windows XP Pro SP3 (Fresh Install)
- Arcadevga 3000 (VGA Port on top)
- Arcadevga VGA Breakout Cable
- Arcadevga drivers installed
The problem I am having is this. If I boot the system without a PC Monitor connected I see the boot screens and loading windows screens on the arcade monitor. Once windows loads the screen goes black like the video card stops outputting to the VGA port.
When I go to the display setup and try to extend the desktop the system resets both displays and both screens flash but nothing comes up on the arcade monitor and the extend desktop checkbox goes back to unchecked. I have tried many different resolutions and nothing seems to work. Its like the card stops outputting a video signal on the VGA once windows loads and nothing I am doing is working.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I realize this is an old post but I had the same issue.
I fixed it by soldering a 430 ohm resistor between pins 1 and 6 on the back of the VGA amplifier from ultimarc. This tell the video card that a monitor is hooked up and send the VGA signal.

1) I think you can "clone" the screen on both monitors, but I don't think you can extend the desktop across both.
2) The only way you can change desktop resolutions is by using the "galaga" tray icon. You can't do it within display setup.
Try setting your Windows desktop to 640x480 using ONLY your PC monitor, then disconnect the PC monitor and boot up with ONLY the arcade monitor.
