The Jack Reacher DVD is protected so badly with a custom mastering that I literally cannot even play it with any of my players. This is what the dir looks like. Each of the 14 main VTS sets are over 6 gigs each, making the DVD folder register as 70 GB. Everything just errors out instead of playing it.

I disagree with that on principal. Poo on them. The nzbs I'm looking at are all showing under 20 GB.

Have you tried playing it on a PC, with VLC, Mplayer, Media Player Classic, or other open-source media players?
Those ignore region and copy protections, as far as I know.

Simply goes to show: No matter how much Hollywood tries these tactics, there will always be a way around it...
Unless it's Raiden 2...

Hollywood can't protect their stuff.

FWIW I tried Any/Clone on it last night and it failed out with an unknown mastering error, and today there was an update to Any that I just installed and after installation it appears to be working. It's a brand new DVD so I guess they needed a few hours to figure it out. So now I can actually watch the DVD, a rip of it. Thanks Hollyweird now if you could just put an end to the teal and orange era we can be one big happy family of pirates.

They all failed to play it initially. At some point after trying to view and/or rip it I think one of the programs finally started playing it after I had a rip program pull the whole thing uncompressed to my hard drive. I don't know what kicked it into gear.

Until the last time you mentioned it I hadn't consciously noted the teal/orange thing, but since then I've been acutely aware of it in everything I've seen to the point of distraction. Can't hardly even be bothered to process the actions or dialog. My mental dialog when watching newer movies is now "teal", "orange", "teal", "orange", "orange", "teal".

It's unfathomable how horrible the truth is, which is why it's blinded/denied over at first, even was for me. In a couple of decades it will be looked back on with disbelief. And squatting shits on porches of those involved. Actually shitted into paper bags and lit on fire and doorbells rang then running away. And lawn pissings.

In a couple of decades we'll be throwing our dirty diapers on their porch.

Is one of the Java ads yes. Not your fault, just warning others. My machine has been down for a good few hours now and still not working.
