yes but Dolphin uses hardware acceleration (GPU), something that MAME/MESS do not... and probably never will.
This is ESSENTIAL to emulate this system. Only a really insane person would emulate this system and use CPU based emulation only.
Dolphin runs A LOT better with a GeForce GTX 570 than with a GeForce 9800GT.

We will use hardware acceleration; we will simply do it correctly. Existing emulators most definitely do not do so.
