Thanx again, Redk.
I can't understand why john doesn't release the 32 version of mameUI, claiming compiler bugs, yet you release your version every time...

I don't think it is compiler errors. He feels it is time to move up to 64-bit. Most people who run MAME SHOULD move up to 64-bit!

And yet MAME is used for old games.

On the MAMEUI site he claims there are some bugs and that's why he doesn't release the 32 bit version.
Plus, not all PCs use a 64 bit OS (not yet, at least)
I, myself, own two computers.
A desktop, equipped with a Phenom II 3.0Ghz, 8GB of RAM and win7 x64.

But, I also own a small notebook which comes with factory pre-installed Win7 x86 and NO DVD, so I can't move (easily) to 64 bit OS. So, for that one, I need the 32 bit build.

see?

It means it can but doesn't guarantee a break and also sucks up twice as much of his time every U release to do an extra 32 bit. I'm just going to delete all future complaints about the lack of thereof.

I do not see any message like that.

Yes you can.
Microsoft provides a free tool that builds a bootable USB flash drive from any Windows 7 install DVD:

Another way. If that person have a DVD and another hard drive that is on a USB or not then can do this as well. Doesn't have to be a USB stick. Ether way works. http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-windows-7vista-from-usb-drive-detailed-100-working-guide/

Oh doesn't have to reformatted the hard drive. Just copy the DVD hidden boot key. If there are stuff on it.

Tested by me and it works.

Just can't wait till I get a new Desktop which will be a hell of a lot more powerful than my current 2.0Ghz Vista 32Bit Laptop. From what I read, and saw when I took this thing apart, I could upgrade the Processor so maybe I could get a few Games working that dont run so well now.
If anyone can help, please let me know which would possibly be the best way to go with my Laptop Upgrading. Have a Mobile Intel GM965 Chipset with a Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00Ghz, 2MB, 667Mhz PGA478 Socket Type. These apparently are my Options for Upgrades:

If possible, as suggestion, don't make a 32Bit Version for the U releases. Just the Main releases that do not have a U or Beta Release. That way the 32Bit is only for Stable and fully working Releases. That way those who unfortunatly still have a 32/x86 System can still run MAMEUI.
Or, do not know if it can be done, but is there a way of making the releases work with 64 or 32 Bit Systems? I know there are some programs that are like that.

There's a 32-bit build attached to this post. If you only want the full number release, then just download it.

You cannot run a 64-bit program on a 32-bit machine. Windows can run 32-bit programs with a 64-bit OS by using Windows on Windows 64.

For years mame has been too big to make "stable releases". You might get lucky and have a non-u release that actually has fewer bugs than a u release but a little bit of extra testing and bug fixing does not equate to a guaranteed marginally more stable release. It's too big for that. The difference is an illusion.

There will be bugs in the stable.
