I was pretty heavily into the blues when this boxed set came out. Hearing it for the first time was quite a revelation. It's pretty amazing that an obscure, itinerant musician, who only lived 27 years and was practically unknown during his lifetime, could have such a huge impact on popular music.
Whoa... pretty wild. They just authenticated a third photograph of him.

I think he was referring to when the original tracks were released in the 1930s.

Obviously I was referring to the complete recordings release. I guess you could call it a box set but I only remember it being a couple cassettes.
