Rom Hacks Inquiry

Was wondering on a few Hacks I noticed while trying to figure out CPS2PSP.
I found a few listed Hacks on the Rom Info file that I was wondering if could possibly be added to MAME or any other MAME that list "Other than Official" Roms.

Site is in Spanish.
Also, these Roms are mainly Boss Hacks that allow the Player to select a Boss like a Normal one, instead of using a Code or Cheat in order to play them.

They (any hacks) could go in the next misfitmame or rather its replacement project. User hacks that were never a commercial product aren't included in the official.
I had to removed the link though, that's just way too many roms hosted. The thing to do when you find hacks you want in a build is send a PM about it to Robbbert and see if he will add them on his to do list.

Not a problem. There are a few anyway that were noted as being Betas, and I tested some of them on CPS2PSP, and while some worked, there are a few that while listed as working, just shut off my PSP so have no idea if they are good or not.

That is to be expected on random user rom hacks. I'm not sure how he will end up choosing what to accept or not. The hacks these days seem to range from interesting (like trap15 stuff) down to just a few color changes which probably aren't worth the time to add in. In most cases people would be better off pooling their hacks together over time to make something more significantly different.

True. They have a Street Fighter II hack that apparently is just a Color Hack.
But also, they have a King of Fighters '95 Hack that is a Boss+Color Hack which they should have left the Colors alone.
But I do like that they did for Street Fighter Alpha/Zero placing Akuma, Bison, and Dan on the Select Screen though. Just wish they would have done the same for E. Ryu and Shin Akuma just placing them at the bottom left and right open spots.

Just tested if the SFZ Boss Hack would work in MAME and it did. I replaced Street Fighter Zero Japan(950727) sfzj, and it worked great (little bit of a screen issue after selecting a fighter).
If you want, can test the Hacks I got and see which ones take and which ones do not so others if they want, can use if they want.
Note: Using a Number of Cheats may cause major Screen issues or freeze MAME.
MAME used: 146 and 147
hsf2j Rom works.....if you can get it to work. Have to rename the hsj.03bh file to hsj.03 to get it working. Then, in order to get Akuma, you have to press Button 2 (MP) and Start at the same time. You either get him or you dont. I just say use the Cheat and there you go. LOL
