Is there a reason (other than "no-one has done it yet") why the digital sound hasn't been hooked up to Star Wars Trilogy yet when it has been hooked up to the other Sega Model 1/2/3 games that have the MPEG sound board?

Picard says "There are two digital sound boards, and they work very differently."

Also, SWT runs too poorly to tell if the sound is working. Even in STCC you can press F2, go into the sound test, and enjoy the world's heaviest M1 cranking out "Don't Drop Me".

If I may English translate a few items from the list, HLSL and D3D in general should be much more stable in this release. HLSL handles games that change resolutions now (including Genesis h/w), and both HLSL and plain D3D should now correctly handle recovery from alt-tabbing in and out of MAME. (As a bonus, MAME should recover faster when that happens).

But do report if you can still make it go boom, aside from the Nvidia-on-XP thing that's not our fault

John,

FYI, MAMEUI only compiles (for me) using the source from mamedev.org, not from the svn. Shouldn't they be the same?
