Is there a better article that explains WHY certain games are at the ranking they are? I hate lists like this with no explanation why. Earthbound at ONLY 156? Are you kidding me?!
I might get strung up for saying so, but Earthbound was better than most Zelda games. I said MOST.
Chrono Trigger barely squeaking by in the top 20? I'm not even that much into RPG's but both of these games deserve a much better ranking IMO.

It's also odd that there are no arcade games on the list. Maybe the list was restricted to games that were reviewed in the Nintedo Power Magazine since a lot of those games weren't even made by Nintendo.
I would also bet that the people who made this list weren't even alive when the NES hit the scene.

"Top n" lists are basically pointless beyond 10 or maybe 20 entries. Comparing different systems and genres, there's just no way you can split hairs that fine.
