Rocksmith?
#301181 - 12/22/12 11:37 AM

Why didn't I know about this before?

Well, now I do.

eta: But it requires 256 MB of Dedicated Video RAM and I only have 64 MB.

Off-topic, that makes 4 games I've wanted to play but couldn't. *sigh*... well, crap.

I wonder if it would work on a modern i3 laptop with Intel integrated graphics. I know the older Intel graphics was really underpowered and awful, but I think the newer ones have gotten somewhat better.

I had heard this or something like it was in development, but lost track of it after the whole rhythm game fad fizzled.

You should consider getting a machine that was made in this decade. Seriously, my video card is *ancient* and I have almost 1GB of dedicated Video RAM.

Hmm. Funny you should say that.

I'm sure you know about it, but if not... I've been using this to check.

Other games I would've like to have gotten but failed on that site's test...

DiRT 3, Complete Edition

Scribblenauts Unlimited (seriously?)

(& something else I can't recall atm. ...Steam had a 'Prince of Persia' pack, maybe that was it.)

Yeah. That was the first thought I had too. It was a topic Hizzout posted....

I bought a laptop earlier this year, and I was looking for something in/around the $500.00 range. It's a Win7, Intel i3...

Oh well. 'Guess I should've splurged on this one.

Yeah, laptops have never been very well suited to gaming, especially on the low end. You could get a desktop for $500 that would run 90%+ of the games out there with no problem at all.

Looks interesting, but song list doesn't really do it for me.
