I didn't have QMC2 updated with the correct mameinfo.dat so I edited post.
It seems playable and available from what I can tell.

Thanks hap for finally bringing sound to this classic title!
And thanks to MASH for pointing it out for the rest us since it's not mentioned in the notes.
Now I am inspired to try another set of samples from inside the cockpit and I might be able to improve upon the laser blast.
For preliminary drivers, you doing great!
