Shipping a PCB and Marquee at the same time SUCKS.

Marquee boxes are easy to make. PCB boxes are easy to find as well. Want to ship a PCB and a marquee in the same box? Now you need a fucking refrigerator box. Nobody carries a 24"x 15" x 4", or some other practical size. Nope. 23" is what they carry. 1/2" smaller than my needs. I can either move up to 36", or angle the marquee, but now I need vertical height to stand the marquee upright or angle it funny. Now I have a giant box with a PCB sloshing around in it...got to fill it with 16 crumpled magazines....Starting to get up near the cost of shipping two boxes...
Fuck it, shipping two boxes.

Would it be possible to get a large enough sheet of cardboard, then cut (and fold) that down to the size you'd need? Then just tape it...
I did that once with a board I had to ship back and the place that shipped it didn't make any fuss. They even provided the packing peanuts.

At this point I'm not sure if you're angry about having to ship a big box or just buy one... What I was getting at was -- there are more frugal ways of obtaining cardboard.
I shouldn't have used the word "sheet".

Either or. It's all the same aggravating sheet.

I thought maybe Gat was suggesting that italie paint a still life of the marquee and PCB, and ship that instead.

That picture doesn't even show the plate....rather it's covered and obstructed by that perfect, perfect tush.
You'll need to provide more examples.
