You should play it. The Sega CD version is the best home port - it has Guy, the missing SNES level, and the music is damned near perfect.

I totally agree with you, KS. It's a great adaptation and as you said, the sound is awesome and the level at the top of the bridge is damn cool! And consider that I hate adaptations too, but always there are exceptions...
