VGA cable

Can you help me out here. OK first and all I have these VGA cables. Both are different brand. One of those making my Sony screen look like blurry liquid lines on the screen. I want to buy new ones. What kind I'm looking for that make my screen clear and nice? Gold plated ones or what?
I have other ones that make the screen clear and nice but the problem is that those cables have a missing pin on each end of the VGA cables and the screen sizes with hertz aren't listed right. Also my online games run like crap with those.

Just to be sure we're on the same page, when you say "VGA" do you mean:
A)
or B)

My old cables just like the A) picture. I swap to those.
I have three different plugins.
None matches the picture.
I think the MSI and ASUS have the Nvidia support while the other one gotta be for ATI support.
I did fix the Sony Screen. Clear now. Swap the unknown one for the MSI one.
